Found a Patrol I really like but the seller is pushing hard for a deposit before the weekend because apparently three other people are interested, and he’s saying an inspection will just slow things down. My head says walk away from that kind of pressure, but I also know decent examples sell fast here so part of me is worried about being too cautious and losing it. What I keep coming back to is that a deposit is exactly how people end up stuck with somebody else’s problem, and I’ve heard enough stories about hidden accident repairs to not want to gamble. I’ve started looking into Pre Purchase Car Inspection Dubai services so at least I know what’s available, and the fact that a proper check can be done and reported on relatively quickly makes me think the seller’s urgency is more about him than about the car. Would you put down a deposit subject to inspection passing, or is that just asking for trouble when they inevitably find a reason not to refund it? Also curious how you phrase that condition so it actually means something if things go wrong.
